Christmas is coming!?

I'm sitting on my couch with a Santa hat on my head, listening to Christmas music and pretending Christmas is coming by taking out my slightly-melted Christmas decorations while researching amoeba treatment options on my computer. I'm thinking about how this time last year, my roommate Ronit and I made a shameless plea for Christmas cards to be sent to our humble abode.

And this... this is what you did. You guys rock!
before... and after :)
Look! A Christmas giraffe!
The kids at my home church...
Well, Ronit left last weekend for furlough in the States. My new roommate Sarah (our third teacher for the school, yay!) will arrive next week Tuesday. And as the weather outside isn't so frightful, but has definitely been warm and a bit sweatyish, I'm having a hard time feeling like Christmas is on it's way.

So here I am again, shamelessly asking if you'd add me to your Christmas card list!?

My address is still the same (it's a PO Box) but in case you didn't get it down last year, I'll provide it here again with a couple sending suggestions. (Sounds like a few of your cards never made it last year!? :( ).

The place:
Crystal Lucas
c/o: SIL International
P.O. Box 1235
Musoma, Tanzania
EAST AFRICA

The East Africa thing is important so it doesn't end up in Timbuktu. Or Texas.

Mailing a regular envelope to Tanzania costs $1.10, so if you put two stamps on, you'll be all set.

And if you have a small manilla envelope around, it would be GREAT if you could put anything you send inside as reinforcement keeps things intact on the long-ride over to Tanzania-land. I'm trying to figure out if this would cost the same to send or not, so it'd be worth bringing it to the post office to check.

Last but not least, if you have any recent picture of your family that you'd be willing to include safely inside, I'd love to get those too! It helps me to pray for you regularly as I see your smiling faces, and thank God for you even more often.

Wishing you all a fabulous, low-stress, white, family/friends-filled holiday season focused on our Lord and Savior!
